We are pleased to invite you to an upcoming ERA4Health webinar dedicated to how AI enables improvements in medical practice and clinical research
on May 12, 2026 at 10:00 – 11:00 AM Online
Register here.
Topic titled: “How AI Enables the Improvement of Medical Practice and Clinical Research” includes:
- If the science works, what else must be true for it to be used?
- Who decides whether something is adopted or funded?
- What evidence do decision-makers need?
- Where do research projects lose momentum?
- How can projects be designed earlier for real-world uptake?
Speaker: Shabs Rajasekharan, Prof. Stéphanie Allassonnière, Professor of Applied Mathematics at the School of Medicine, Université Paris Cité and University’s Vice-President in charge of research economical transfer and industrial partnerships.
Speaker bio
Stéphanie Allassonnière is a Professor of Applied Mathematics at Université Paris Cité, specializing in generative AI models for medical data. Her work focuses on developing decision-support systems and generating synthetic patient data to enhance clinical trials and accelerate research. She contributed to the development of the Origa Platform (BOTdesign) and is co-founder of Sonio. She also serves as Deputy Director of the AI and Health program at the university’s medical school.
This webinar will discuss how AI – particularly generative models – can support clinical decision-making, optimize clinical trial design, and bridge the gap between research and real-world medical practice.
Prof. Stéphanie Allassonnière will present her work on generative statistical modelling of medical data, including the use of synthetic patients to strengthen clinical trials, as implemented in the Origa Platform (BOTdesign). She also contributes to AI and health training programs and is co-founder of Sonio.
