The Mobility Visit programme is designed to support short-term stays of prominent foreign scientists in the Slovak Academy of Sciences associated with all-academic lectures. Its aim is the mutual exchange of experience with eminent personalities of world science, popularisation of world-leading science for a wider academic and non-academic audience, as well as possible establishment and deepening of mutual cooperation.

Dration of the visit: 5 – 7 days
Number of proposals supported for 2025: maximum 4
Method of application:
The application is submitted electronically via the intranet (intranet rights, Calls of the Department of International Cooperation, the relevant Mobility Visit form, year 2024 is selected and filled in). If the application is submitted by a statutory representative (Director), it is approved electronically by the representative; if submitted by someone else, it is approved by the Director of the organisation. The application contains:
CV of the invited guest
the expected date of the visit
expected date of the academic lecture
preliminary budget for travel and accommodation
briefly defined contribution to SAV, or to a wider audience
Evaluation:
All applications received will be forwarded to the SAS Committee on International Relations in September 2024.
The results will be known after the October SAS Presidency. We will inform all applicants of the outcome.
Funding:
Amount of support: up to the costs, max. up to 2 000 €/guest.
Funding will be made to the SAS organisation in the form of a refund after the departure of the guest.
