The Department of International Cooperation announces the call for submission of project proposals under the Mobility program with the institutes of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) for the period 2027 – 2028.

General Terms and Conditions
Project duration is limited to 2 years.
Project proposals (max. 3 pages) must be submitted by the principal investigators (PIs) of both team sides.
Projects will be evaluated by independent reviewers and the relevant committee according to the Lead Agency principle, with an annual rotation. The final funding decision for the Slovak side rests with the SAS Presidium.
A total of 3 (three) two-year mobility projects will be selected for funding.
The maximum financial contribution is €8,000 per project per year.
Evaluation will focus primarily on project content and the quality of the research team (including the involvement of early-career researchers).
At least 1/3 of the team members must consist of early-career researchers or PhD students.
Principal investigators responsible for the project must submit a progress report and a financial report for each year of project implementation.
Project proposals must be submitted in English within the specified deadline, exclusively via the online intranet application.
To submit a proposal, log into the SAS Intranet, navigate to Intranet Rights → Standard Rights, select the Bilateral Mobility Call, and complete the online application form. Once submitted, the proposal will be forwarded to the Director of your SAS Institute for approval. Proposals approved by Institute Directors will automatically be forwarded to the Department of International Cooperation, Office of the SAS. All project proposals must be approved/submitted by the SAS Institute Directors no later than 14 September 2026 (23:59).
