The Department of International Cooperation of the Slovak Academy of Sciences announces that the SAS-DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) call will be launched. It is a joint program of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic, the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the German Academic Exchange Service. The call will be open to applicants from all scientific fields without thematic restrictions.
Indicative call schedule

| September/October 2022 | Completion of the assessment undertaken by external evaluators and the Commission of SAS and Ministry of Education |

SAS in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and DAAD will support the best evaluated projects. The SAS retroactively reimburses money to the institute for accommodation and meals for German scientists. Slovak researchers will receive a contribution from DAAD for accommodation and meals in Germany. The projects are planned for two-years, without the possibility of extension.
The conditions and method of submitting project proposals will be published on 11 April 2022.
