The Department of International Cooperation of the SAS Office informs about the possibility to apply for Seal of Excellence projects.
The aim of the programme is to support projects that have been submitted under the Horizon Europe calls of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions: Postdoctoral Fellowship and the ERC Proof of Concept programme and have been awarded the Seal of Excellence certificate in the evaluation process.
The award of the grant and the amount of support is decided by the Chair of the SAS. The use of the grant is governed by the relevant financial rules.
Projects can be supported up to EUR 24.000/year. Only projects that have not received a financial grant from VAIA can be supported.
The programme is open to scientists from all disciplines. Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- The applicant must be an employee of the SAV organisation.
- The project proposal with which the applicant is entering the Horizon Europe call must be submitted with an affiliation to the SAV organisation.
- The applicant must submit: a completed application form and a copy of the Seal of Excellence certificate.
Grant proposals should be submitted on the attached form electronically to dolna@up.upsav.sk. (Ľudmila Dolná, PhD.).
However, we kindly ask all those who have been awarded the Certificate of Excellence and plan to apply for funding to contact the Department of International Cooperation as soon as possible. They could start receiving support later this year.
