The Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) announce the launch of the 11th Call for SAS – TÜBİTAK joint research projects, with an application deadline of 17 July 2027. Funding is reserved for three joint Slovak–Turkish projects, which are tentatively expected to start in March 2027.

- Health: Artificial Intelligence in Health Applications; Pharmaceuticals
- Information and Communication Technologies: Sensor Technologies; ICT for Quality of Life
- Advanced Materials / Technologies: Biomaterials; Nanomaterials; Functional Materials
- Environment / Global Change: Climate Change; Environment; Biodiversity; Societal Transformation
SAS applicants may apply for funding up to EUR 120,000 for a three‑year period per project in line with the SAS Presidium Resolution Resolution no. 277. C. as of 12 March 2026. The funding is intended for max. three research projects.
The duration of joint projects is set to max. 36 months.
Eligibility criteria are determined for both project partners by legal and internal rules and regulations of their respective research funding organisations specified in the Call Text below.
