The two JTCs 2026 BrainHealth partnership calls are open from January 8, 2026 to March 10, 2026

The European Partnership for Brain Health is officially accepting submissions for its first two Calls for Proposals for Multinational and Translational Research Projects.

Both calls invite interdisciplinary research exploring how biological, social and environmental factors impact brain health trajectories across the lifespan:

Call 1: Neurological, mental and sensory disorders

Call 2: Neurodegenerative disorders

Don’t wait – Submit your proposal before March 10!

These inaugural calls mark the beginning of a decade-long collaborative initiative, with 54 partners across 33 countries committed to advance translational research in brain health and improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care.

Eligible research consortia (3-6 partners from at least 3 different countries) are invited to submit their proposals before March 10th, 2026. Universities, research institutions, hospitals, SMEs and patient organisations may all be eligible to apply.

The SAS Presidium, by Resolution No. 910.C dated April 10, 2024, agreed to the SAS’s involvement in these two calls with financial support for 2 projects for each call up to a maximum of €40,000/year/project for a period of three years, a total of €480,000 for 4 projects for the two mentioned calls BrainHealth partnership JTCs 2026 for three years.
