Objectives of the program
The Tandem program is aimed at excellent research in the field of social sciences and humanities with the aim of intensifying scientific cooperation between the Slovak Republic and France within the framework of the European Research Area. The goal is to bring together two researchers, one from SAS, the other from CNRS (or affiliated with CNRS, for example a member of joint research units of CNRS, so-called mixed research units – UMR) in a joint research project that will strengthen Slovak-French scientific cooperation by submitting a project proposal:
- in an ERC call
- in other calls of the European Union’s Framework Program for Science and Research (Horizon Europe)
- in other calls for research excellence of comparable importance, for example the calls of the French Science Foundation (ANR)
Organization and expected results
Based on the published call, one TANDEM team will be selected to work together for two years.
The team consists of:
- a SAS researcher who receives mobility funding from SAS
- a CNRS researcher who receives mobility funding from CNRS funds
